Exciting weeeeek!

picture-105

Me&the kitten have been hangin’ out a lot (did i forget to mention me and ry got a kitten??? :D) and we’re pretty excited about this week. Mom comes on Wednesday and is here for two weeks!! YAY! And of course, Saturday Ryan and I get married! I wish the rest of my family could come, though! I think it’s going to be really lovely. We’ve been busy all last weekend and this weekend getting all of the details done. THANK YOU AUNT T for getting us a room on the wedding night. We’re both really excited.  I can’t wait till we have pictures of the rings, because mine is really beautiful. Can’t wait to show everyone.

Other then that, I’ve not really been posting much because the cord for my laptop died and the card reader for my camera is built into the laptop so I can’t download anything off of my camera. But Mom is bringing Dad’s camera when she comes, so I’ll be posting lots of pictures then! :)

Lots of photos

It’s pretty much an epic fail at showing you the view out of my window because the angle I am sitting at it is hard to see. You can see the sea perfectly from the couch. OH WELL.

I know you aren’t crazy about it Mom & Aunt T…

We ate sooo much food yesterday! omg.
May 18th, 2009 by Lexi

Ryan’s stomach is a never-ending black hole, which sucks into it any food within a 30ft radius. >.< At least he’s a good cook! Here’s the lunch he made us yesterday.

yum

It was delicious! xoxo’s for ry.

wheee

He’s keeping good on his future husbandly duties of keeping me warm as well. We’d been looking for some jackets for me, since all i’ve got is long coats and I needed something smaller and I found not one but TWO really cute jackets at TK Maxx (Not TJ.. as it’s called in the US), but one didn’t have a price tag. So Ry took it to the counter and asked the lady for a price check, she couldn’t find it I guess, so she rolled on back with a fuzzy pink jacket that was £10, so we got both for roughly £35. :) I’ll try to take some pictures of myself in them so you can seeeee them Mom!

We also went to the botanical garden’s plant sale yesterday. I wanted to get some house plants for us, but all they really had were outdoor type plants (but lots of really, really pretty ones.) I was also looking for a Monkey Puzzle, but no luck there either. We did get this adorable little herb garden, though, for £8. It’s sitting in our window now.

Ry also played guitar for me for a little while on Saturday night. :) He hasn’t moved his drum set to the flat yet, so he has to settle for his guitar. ;)

And here is Ry singing and playing the Bright Eyes Song “First Day of My Life” for me:

(you need to have flash installed to play the song ;) )

It’s STILL cold outside!

So on wednesday night I “braved the city” by myself and walked down to ASDA (grocery store) to get some ingredients so I could make Ryan a surprise dinner. I bought stuff to make deviled eggs (since he claimed he’d never eaten any before) and I also got stuff to make home-made chocolate chip cookies and sandwiches. It was all pretty good. I put a little bit too much mustard in the deviled eggs and the cookies were a bit crispier than they normally come out, but all and all, it was yummy.

Then Dad was asking about the Monkey Puzzle Tree that I was telling Mom about earlier so we went and found the realllllly big one (usually they are much smaller than this) to take photos. Ryan’s pointing at it. The batteries on my camera had run out, so I had to use my cell phone for all of these pics, but you can kinda of see how the leaves look a bit like a cactus.

So anyway, on Thursday night Ryan had a surprise for me, and he took me out to dinner and then on a Ghost Tour, which was very interesting! They take you under the city into the vault below, which is basically that they built the new city on top of old buildings which are supposedly haunted.  I asked Ry to smile at the bus stop, good work dude. lol.

Clearly we fail at taking photos.

090514_212540

Old buildings by where the ghost tour met. This is also a building which is directly in front of the building we’re getting married in.

090514_212724

Another angle, same building.

Ryan standing against the side of the building…

090514_212911

Here’s the actually building we’ll be getting married in (Ryan thinks)

090514_212924

and for your viewing pleasure, photos of us looking totally dumb as we epically fail at pointing out the wedding building. :P

Tomorrow morning we’re off to the fish store so I can get some gravel and plants to get my fish tank set up!!! excited!!!

This is the view from my window…

That there is the Firth of Forth, which is part of the North Sea. It’s right outside my window.  Across the water is the town of Fife, which we can see when it’s clear outside.  CRAZY!

A wild critter!
